Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information FT LLC (“we”, “us”) collects through customdev.co and our text message program, CustomDev Co. Alerts, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• What you send us. Your name, email address, mobile number, project type, budget range and project description when you use our Start a conversation form.
• Text sign-ups. Your name and mobile number, the time you signed up, the exact consent wording you agreed to, and the IP address and browser you used.
• Messages. Emails and texts you send us, and our replies.
• Email updates. If you ask for updates on our Projects pages: your email address, the updates you chose, the exact consent wording, and the time, IP address and browser of your request and of your confirmation.
• Technical data. Server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) kept to run and protect the site. Our forms use a bot check that sees technical details about your browser.

We don’t use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. The site stores one preference on your device: your light or dark theme, if you choose one.

How we use it

• To reply to you, scope and deliver your project, and schedule calls.
• To send the texts you signed up for: project updates, appointment reminders and sign-in codes.
• To send the email updates you confirmed. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the site and our services secure, prevent abuse and meet our legal obligations.

Text messaging

We do not share or sell mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The categories of sharing listed below exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is never shared with any third party.

When we share information

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share it only:

• with service providers who host the site, deliver our email and texts, and run the bot check, under contracts that let them use it only to provide those services to us;
• when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our clients, the public or us;
• as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business, under this policy’s protections.

How long we keep it

We keep project inquiries for up to three years after our last contact, client project records for as long as the work requires plus seven years, and text sign-up records (including opt-outs) for at least four years after your last message, so we can show consent and honor opt-outs. Email update records (including unsubscribes) are kept for four years after you unsubscribe, for the same reason. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit, stored on access-controlled servers in the United States, and available only to the people who need it to do their jobs.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email support@customdev.co with your request. We’ll confirm it’s you and reply within 45 days. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights, and you can appeal a decision we make by replying to it. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you before it applies to information we already have.
